Ethical systems can be referred to as the common norms that curb the behaviors of an individual throughout their lifetime. It is a collection of beliefs that dictates what is right in society. To begin with, Baelz put across that these norms are directed towards serving everyone, not just the individual. Therefore they are for the well-being of the general society and reduces the incidences of a selfish and oppressive act.
